Fuchun Sun received the Ph.D. degree in the department of computer science andtechnology of tsinghua university. He was the recipient of the excellent doctoral dissertation prizeof China in 2000 and was recognized as a distinguished young scholar in 2006 by the naturalscience foundation of China. Now, he is a full professor and the director of academic committeeof the department of computer science & technology, deputy director of the state key lab ofintelligent technology & systems, a member of expert panel of National High-Tech [863] Programand a director of cognitive systems and information processing Society of chinese association forartificial intelligence.
